Artwork by Children of Incarcerated Parents

Between Two Worlds by Javeer. 1st Place 2025 Art Contest
This shows two worlds of a an incarcerated person. One is the harsh reality of prison, loneliness, regret, and confinement. The other lives in his heart, a dream of sitting with family, sharing food, and feeling love. Every person carries these two images within: the walls around them, and the home they long to return to with hope and dignity.

Silenced Witness by Sunny
2nd Place, 2025 Art Contest
As a child of incarcerated parents, you feel like your voice is taken away. The hand covering the mouth shows that feeling. You have so much to say about the pain and the injustice, but you can't speak it out loud. The fear and hurt are in the eyes. I drew the second figure behind to show the heavy shadow of the system and the loneliness that watches over you all the time.

Love in Captivity by Akash
I created this drawing to express a deep, raw emotion where distance and barriers fail to break the bond between two souls. It's a statement that physical distance doesn't matter; two spirits remain forever connected.

The Pain You Don’t See by Arman
Her heart is filled with pain because people mock her, calling her loser, dumb, ugly, fake. Each word leaves an invisible scar on her soul. She loses her voice, silenced as if a tape has been placed over her mouth. He wrote STOP BULLYING across the tape, turning this picture into a voice, a voice for all those who suffer in silence.
